I got out on Englewright Lake and did not have a bite . I was there for 3 hours using a minnow on one pole and a wax worm on the second pole . I never caught nothing there but seeing other guys on the lake I had no other safe lakes to go to . The ice ranged mostly from 2 inches of soft ice on top of 2 inches of hard ice to 4 inches with no slush on top in some small areas . I checked Long lake and Lime Lake in Kent County and they had a inch of hard ice under 2 inches of soft ice . I am going out Wednesday since next weekend the ice might be really wet and slushy , does anyone know a lake I can try ?
