The lazy man's decoy
« on: Dec 11, 2013, 10:43 PM »
I saw these things this am on tv. Seemed too good to be true, but they really did swim around like real fish. All you'd need to do is tie on a line, drop em in, and let them do all the work. Might need a different paint job, but then........maybe not!!!!!

the paint job is fine its small at 3" but may work, my basic 6" worker decoys start a $15.00 just a few bucks more, lol!

From what I saw, they swam all around the aquarium that they were in. Up, down, round and round. I think they're a gimic thing.....supposed to be a low/no maintenance "pet". :cookoo:

After all the hours I've spent carving, sanding, painting and sealing decoys and the fin work and weighting and getting them to swim right, I'm not ready to hear about someone getting a big pike on a kids toy. Please do not tell us if you do.

Please.....Take it spearing with you. Kill a pike with it. Film It. It would be hilarious to do so but I am actually convinced you could decoy a pike with it......or The Little Mermaid ;D
You may call me crazy, but crazy catches fish!
