Could anyone please recommend a couple hut operators on lake Winnipeg? Also accommodations, local bait and supply spots? I appreciate any response thanks very much.

South Beach Casino is on the east side usually has rooms available, most small hotels and B&Bs fill up fast for prime time winter season, there is a hotel on the west side at gimli don't know the name. As far as hut operators go, I don't know of any, but there are a few guides on another forum (Dont want to post link to get banned?) I hear a typical strategy is run and gun if weather permits. I would grab bait in winnipeg either the fishin hole or pro am tackle, tons of other places im sure, bring some lipless cranks.

People also stay in Selkirk or gimli if your fishing the west side of the lake. Looks like vehicle access is gonna be an issue on the west side this year, not sure if your bringing a sled or not. If your looking for a guide contact Lee Nolden he knows the lake very well. Anymore questions just ask. I'm heading g out east side for the first time this year on Saturday
