Snow and Ice in the Block -eskimo mako
« on: Dec 08, 2013, 03:18 PM »
We were out fishing yesterday and got some snow and ice in the block below the flywheel. Just wondering if anybody had any problems? My eskimo seems to run fine. I'm such a worry wart when it comes to my equipment. Any thoughts?

No. Nothing to worry about, just blow as much as you can out, make sure carb throat isn't plugged.
Bring it in to warmer place and just lay that side down. You'll be fine, there's nothing to hurt.

Do you mean in the cooling fan area?  You can't really get snow into anywhere that matters so I wouldn't worry much.  It might be good to let it dry out completely just to be safe.  I too am very particular about maintaining my equipment.
