Is it time yet?
« on: Nov 26, 2005, 11:57 AM »
Is it that time of year? Is there any lakes with enough ice to fish? Terygonefishing how did your hunting season go? Any stories for me? Anyone else? I know you had a good season Whiskey! 5 days left of 4-points, what do you say to maybe letting your hunting partner shoot something?! ::)

Heh buddy. Welcome back. Yeah I have a secret lake that has 6-7 inches of solid ice on that I may go to next week. Hunting was great and I will tell you personally when I see you. 3 moose, 3 deer, 2 wolves and a fisher.
You only have to go to Whiskeys gun and turn his scope dials 45 cranks left and about the same down ;D. Do this when he is sleeping or chasing some young thing ;D
PS: I will be checking out Gravelpit this afternoon. Check back for pics.

I tried messing with his scope and it didn't work. The horse shoe is lodged to deep! I look forward to your hunting stories. Give me a call and we'll catch up. It was a long guiding season this year. I didn't get to do as much hunting as I would of liked. Chased alot of deer this year but didn't find any bucks worth the lead. I did get to see Whisk shoot his first Moose and his First Muley! That made my whole season. ;D

I'm ready too, just have to check how thick it is in some places. Some lakes have had ice for a few weeks but I am always so busy this time of year. I hope to get out this weekend and check things out. Plus I have to run to my place on Moyie Lake and see how much snow is out there, last I heard there was 3-4" of snow out there.

The ice is great on smaller lakes here in Northcentral BC. Generally 4 -6 inches and building. I think its time to get cool and on ice ;D

Hey bud. Yeah I got em alright. I hope you don't mind but I superimposed my face on to all your giant fish Pictures. And yes were way overdo for a fishing excursion. We'll have to all hook up at Whisk's cabin a few times this season for a little ice fishing, and some late night streaking...

See you on the ice sounds funny JP. How far apart are we? 12 hrs? Would love to come down there one day and see what the southern part of the province has to offer. ;D
