Libby Road ~ you won't be able to miss the parking lot! If the space station does a fly over, they'll be able to see the lights

I don't believe you can drive a vehicle on there, just sleds and wheelers.

We are still undecided if we are gonna spend the night on the ice or head down at 3 or 4 in the morning…either way, ill be punching holes before the sun comes up to mark my spots!!!!

Everything was glare up this way a few days ago. We have gotten two small squalls with about 3/4" each time in the last couple days. I found this weekend that it was glare ice with patches of 1" snow and would imagine it is about the same there

I'm going to the derby for the first time and was wondering how early I should get there to get a good spot or is that not an issue due to the ponds size?

If you get there by 3am you can probably be picky. by 5am it's usually wherever there is a spot. I don't think it matters overmuch as long as you are up north

No driving of vehicles from the Libby Rd. location.

Also, everyone please don't drive your vehicles out there. First, there are way too many traps, it makes it hard to drive a sled or atv. Second, with that many people on the lake, you are not only risking your life driving out there, and many other people too.

No reason at all to drive out ! We have a great spot 1/2 way up the lake. Be safe have fun !!

We have lots of people selling tickets for a sport shack and 50/50

Your Derby tickets get you in for every other prize and we have a ton !

Exceptions : IS.com prize & Hunters for the hungry auger
