I think what Greasy means is referring to is some areas off limits to the general public. Long Lake is just south of Horseshoe and is a lake you do not want to venture on, or you might be confronted by angry landowners. The public access for Horseshoe is on the southeast side of the lake though. If you pull it up on google maps you can zoom in and see the landing. I haven't been out yet this year but it sounds like most lakes now have 3-7 inches on them. Good luck to you!

Precisely why he said to know the area beforehand.  We have enough land/water access issues right now.

You could go up there and try it....that's the best way to get a fishing report if you ask me.

I would say its a WE have a problem with water access. And it might get worse in the next legislative session.

Jonas is pretty tight lipped eh ;D? I don't blame him. Find fish, enjoy the bite while it lasts and move one. It'll be very short lived if you pass it on, early ice is best though. good luck to all

You have to be tight lipped now a days....Tell the wrong person and there is 479 people in your spot the next morning!  I will say that I was in a shallow bay with some stained water.  Fish were hungry.  Went out tonight....not a fish!
