I have finally been doing pretty well trapping bait and am upgrading my tote tank to a barrel tank.   ;D
I should have it set up this weekend and will transfer every thing over after I have had it running for a few days.

But I have read the bigger shiners will beat up / eat up the smaller ones.

Does anyone have any experience making a divider in their barrel tank?  I am thinking that if I cut a circle out of hardware cloth I can wedge it in there and create a separate holding area to keep the sizes apart.

Has anyone tried this?  ???

get some of the plastic material that usually goes in drop down ceiling lights and cut it to size to make a separator just like in a live well

I ended up using wire mesh. Worked out great.
