A nice upgrade for an older Vexilar

It is a nice little unit and good idea. Though I believe they want like $50 for them, which IMO is too steep. I would have been a buyer around $30-$35 for the convienience.

A nice adddition, but not really necessary for me. Something like that could be nice if Marcum brought one out for their round dial flashers also.

My buddy needs this. Every time we are fishing together and I ask him what depth he has he takes so long to answer me and when he does it's always like uh I don't know 15 or 20.

The cheapest I have seen them is $49.99, but haven't looked too many places online.

I want one. too bad we don't have a dealer in Regina SK. I checked the vex site for dealers in Canada the ones listed for Regina haven't carried vex for as long as I remember. Just got a cabala's here so I will wait and see what they carry.

i am bad at giving the depth right away when someone ask. i always screw it up. i will be changing my battery indc. with this 100% and giving the indc to my buddy.

Even if your local Cabelas store does not have it they can order it. My local Cabelas store can order things they do not list in their catalog or ever even had in their catalog.

seems like a waste of money to me,  i can find bottom very quickly and easily with my old vex already.

I have an FL-20 and I will probably get this, very quick to read depth, takes the guessing away, then can take the existing one and put it on my spare FL-8.
