what lake?
« on: Nov 18, 2005, 07:37 AM »
I'm planning a weekend trip to chase after some walleyes and have narrowed by choices down to three lakes:

Pymatuning
Berlin
Piedmont

If you had your choice which one would you prefer to fish?

No inland lakes for me. I'll be on the pier at Catawba State park Saturday night casting for walleyes. Hopefully the wind will be in my favor.

Piedmont is all saugeye and can be great all year long.  I would choose piedmont just becaue i've fished it before.  Never ice fished it though.

I'm going to check the ice at both Old State Park and Mogadore, East of Congress Lake Road... I'll let you know what I find.
