Fished off Williams just past and east of the islands in 20 FOW.Caught dink perch on and off as schools would come thru every 15 to 20 minutes.Where really tight lipped.Caught 2 between 10 and 11 inches.The were fatties tho.Got a late start.On the ice around 10 and off by 3.

north shored it today sat in one spot and slugged it out ,ended up landing 16 eyes and 10 perch , I should have moved around but it was cozy in side , not much growth on the ice just about the same 12-14"
and nice to see you Ice Addict ,, guess we had the same idea wish you could have stuck around maybe you could have gotten those stripe-rs motivated

Marked fish all day but could not find the right combo, sound familiar? Worked hard for the ones we got. Had a blast with the grandson, stopped at mickey d's for a filet o fish.

Nice job Perry, Pooch and Pman...oh, almost forgot, Filet too.

Went off the north shore again and started in the same area as yesterday but on a different contour. Got 3 'eyes right away (1 was short) that charged 6-8' up and really smacked it. Thought I was in for a banner day but that was pretty much it for the walleyes. My buddy dropped 2 in that flurry too. After that we got some nice perch, maybe 12-15 good ones then they started getting consistently smaller. Wind wasn't too bad so we made a move. Started catching perch right away and a lot of them, but it was like Sandy Pond. Dink City! My buddy did get a few pigs and I got 2 burbot. Made a short move to get out of the dinks and was right back into them again. Tired of the small perch we moved back to our starting point for some evening walleyes, but they never showed. The perch were gone too. Not a bad day, the dinks kept us busy most of the day, but I need to find some plentiful big perch again.

Out on the ice by 9 AM left by Noon. Was cold as hell with no shanty and the wind kicked up at 11 AM, ouch! I need to get a shanty!!! Caught my limit, but lost a boat load of them as I could not pull them through the hole. The thick ice and darn big eyes just do not like fitting through a 6 inch hole. Next weekend, I am going to cut multiple holes so I have a bigger opening.

Was a real good weekend as I limited out on eyes in no time both days.

Paid my Oneida dues today.... Got out late and set up around 2 on a steep drop from 17 to 30, marked a few but no biters. Dumped one fish all day, my buddy Harold did a pinner and a Burbot for me to cook up

This one day off a week is really hurting me, should have picked the AM to fish and PM to do chores..... Well got it out of the way I guess, Nice catches everyone

Thanks guys - yesterday was simply one of those special days. It's amazing how Oneida can humble you so often and then so richly reward you. We are truly fortunate to have such an amazing fishery in our own backyard. Ended up with a pretty impressive stack of filets which I hand delivered to a few people this afternoon. The smiles on their faces said it all.

Pooch I think we saw you yesterday - were you on the 2 wheeler? You had quite a week of fishing. I couldn't buy an eye yesterday but was more than happy with a nice bunch of stripers.

Not sure if the video is going to work or not so here it is. Was fooling with the gopro Friday during the meylay. Got to work out some bugs in doing it as the remote eats the battery to quick. Got lots more video, but it takes forever to download it to photobucket.

we had agood day today, limited on eyes and 12 jumbos. Although today was a lot tougher bite really had to work the fish. Colleen did agreat job today. There was 5 of us and we all limited then when looking for perch.

KC yea I don't keep the cleanest shanty as I chew opps. Have a lot more great videos, but they r a pain to download to photobucket. That one was just over a minute and it took like 40 minutes to load. Oh and the dog has to eat to lol

after five years I finally made a name on here and between reading and the guys at apps just want to say thanks for all the tips and info over the years i can finally drive three hours and put eyes on the ice but still trying to figure the perch out

the weekend had its ups and downs. our auger broke on Saturday and our atv wouldn't start on the ice sunday. managed 2 keeper eyes, 6 shorts, a dozen jumbo perch. out of taft bay in 29-38 fow on raps
