East River Open Water

Is everything East River pretty much opened up for boat traffic by now?  Heading out next weekend.  Has anyone heard of a hot lake?

They are still ice fishing on good ice in the Webster area with a bit of open water near culverts for shore fishing. Shorelines may be opening up shortly. The last of the snow in my yard melted Saturday. I live in Aberdeen and know of no open water around here.

Was still fishing the refuge last Sat. Was getting slushy on top.The shore lines on the big lakes may be opening up this week.About the only snow left is in the tree claims.

Everything South of Hwy 14 is open. The lakes North to 212 still have alittle ice to get rid of, and the Lakes North of 212 are just beginning to open (Lots of ice yet). Take this info. with a grain of salt, you might want to contact a bait shop in the area you want to fish for a more up to date report on the ice and fishing. All the lakes are HOT, its SPRING.
