Had a great day yesterday on Sulphur Creek Reservoir, caught 6 Bows, and 1 sucker. Still 15" of ice.  Depends on the weather this week, yeasterday might have been the last hard water for me this spring?

A buddy and I will be fishing boysen for the last time this weekend, try to hook up with some nice pre spawn pig eyes! Also going to target some more slab sized crappie ;D
Great thing about ice fishing is, if the fish don't bite at least you know the "BEER" will stay cold!

Well we made it back from Vegas this afternoon. It doesn't look good later this week as far as cold temps. I am going to try to get on Fontenelle this weekend. NOT GOING THROUGH MUD TO GET THERE THOUGH. >:(
And if not will hit Naughton.
Going to La Barge tomorrow, will check Fontenelle and MUD conditions.

I'll be finishing the season tomorrow here across the border in Western SD. 60's and 70's in the forecast make me a little weary of the ice and get's me in the mood to get my fly-rod out. Been an awesome season for sure.

It's official, I'm done for the ice fishing season as the sled, auger, and gear have all come out of the pickup.  I also ran dry what little gas I had left in the auger.  It was not a memorable day on Boulder to close out the season as the wind was blowing pretty hard all day and I only caught one, 8 inch laker.  I didn't know a laker that small could even be caught!!  Thanks for all of the reports and info this past season.  I'll mainly be fly fishing now on the Green in Wyoming and Utah until other rivers and lakes open up or maybe do a little casting from the shores of Flaming Gorge.  See you all next November or December!

I probably have a couple trips left. North Park hangs on til the bitter end. Real slushy though. Going tomorrow to "honey hole" that produces
17-23" constantly. can't seem to break myself away from there.

Been there done that for hardwater season.  Time to start tying a few favorite flys to bug the fish with.  Happy trails.

I've been tying flies and stored most of my stuff but, out of curiosity, I went out and checked out all of the plains lakes the other day. Twin Buttes didn't have any open spots that I could see (I doubt the ice is safe). I wonder why that lake holds together so well when almost all of the others are open. Oh well, hope to see you guys over on myfishfinder!

Well its official...Both jet sleds are in the garage rafters with all the ice fishing stuff in them...stored til winter.... :(   time to get the boat out of storage. Will be mounting a new transducer for the down imaging HB 345 and looking into a transon trolling bar for downriggers. See ya later Ice Shanty. Making the switch to Myfishfinder for the summer. I'll check in on ya from time to time!....

I had put my gear away a couple of weeks ago and proceeded to prep my boat for the season, but this little cold snap has rekindled the urge for some hard water action.  I got the gear back out last night and today I'm heading west to find some ice!
