I got my deep sea fishing buddy hooked on icefishing this week Tom and I fished the sandbar Sunday and Wednesday. Sunday we iced 16 pike and 6 largemouth, pike were avg. small fish bass were fat two 4lb.ers
Wednesday was nasty but the calm before the storm was eerie and the bite was on. Most of the fish were caught by ten including two chunk pike
Friday was slow 13 pike by myself no bass
Saturday we had a great day today 20 pike and 9 largemouth. Nice pike today half a dozen from 7 to 9 lbs and good size avg. fish. Two more 4lb Bass
CAUTION!! ICE IS GETTING VERY SKETCHY LOTS OF REAL THIN SPOTS AND THE THICK ICE IS VERY SOFT I WONT BE RETURNING TILL NEXT YEAR. TWO WHEELERS WENT THROUGH TODAY AND A TRUCK THURSDAY ITS MELTING BEFORE MY EYES
