Open water fishing?

Anybody know if theres any open water in RI? i was just wondering because I dont think the ice is safe down here, unless you go up into north and central mass

Turner reservoir is totally open I was in a canoe out there this morning.. Very choppy and the waters pretty high

The east providence/ seekonk line.. It's a good sized body of water along rt 152 .. Careful it's got a waterfall at the end...  Good bass and perch spot as well as carp

barbers is still mostly ice and its trout water no fishing till april

I stopped at Turner Sunday morning and did some shore fishing for a few minutes between some of the items on the honey do-list. I didn't get anything but the guys fishing the bridge were filling bags with white perch and some monster shinners on balled up pieces of hot dog buns.
Love those slab crappie, jumbo perch, and always love those bull sunfish. A.F.& A.M.

Those guys fish that bridge every single day... And I mean every single day.. They're more part of the scenery then anything haha
