winder ice

Ok 2 ?is the ice still good at winder and where did all the gills disapere to   in the summer u cant keep them off a hook and then the ice formes and poof they disappere on me since the kids have a long weekend they want one more slide on the ice and would like some variety in the catch   thanks for any help

i haven't been out there this year, but last year we found them right next to the dam.

yeah, they don't plow the road out there, so it's usually drifted shut.
only reason we got out there last year was because of the significant lack of snow.

Its one of my favorites theres a area on the north west  side thats good for gill and if ya can make it in the fishing has been good i have ridden my sled in a few times this year and have done great ...

Wish i had a sled well with a motor haha! R u meaning there by the cliff u can see during summer? We made it in early ice and had a ball with the pearch

Yeah the prech fishing there is good alot of dinks though there are some nice sized gills in there

Oh yeah lots of tiny stuff there are some good ones but u have to go threw at least a bushel of the small to get to um but as long as ur catchin its all good
