Spring bite at the Sandbar?

I know pike fishing usually gets good during those last couple of weeks.  I have never got out at the Sandbar in March because I always end up with friends at other places.  Has it started to pick up there yet.  Assuming I don't have to work on thursday I'm gonna give a whirl.  They got to move in there at someplace.
