Great job, catchin' and camera! I don't get out there anymore ; but I keep lurking around here. I'm pretty sure I know where you're fishing'. I was there once, lol Hardwater Chix...the Diehards are in trouble!

sweet. thanks for sharing. i have been using a jigging rapala alot this winter. love it. noticed you use a swivel. have you noticed any difference with or without a swivel using that lure?

Thank you! We use swivels with our jigging raps because we use spinning reels exclusively. The spinning reels impart a lot of line twist and we find the swivel makes for a more natural presentation. Before we started using swivels, we noticed on camera our raps getting into the strike zone and spinning in circles which may or may not have deterred some bites. The swivels we use are Spro #10 which are suuuuuper tiny, so it minimizes the extra hardware. We have noticed no decrease in hook ups, if anything...they've increased!

Wow, great video. You make catching walter look way easier than it is! Nice tips too. What's the bike in front of the shanty, not a rokon is it? Always wanted to try one of those on the ice.

Thank you! It's not a Rokon...I'm not sure what it is...ask Pooch, it's his. It's pretty awesome though...I've seen him haul Stormy and both their shacks no problem.
