has anyone fished lilly lake in luzerne county lately. word i got recently is that there was a two pound crappie caught? may try tommarrow evening  :tipup: :icefish:

yeh 10.4. put them in about two weeks ago. more interested in the crappie bite and if it is after dark or not? gunna hit it tommarrow. guess its the best way to find out.

isnt that the truth...not sure if you saw last weeks sunday times leader outdoor section? There was literally 36 guys fishing about 36 square feet of lake in 10-18" of water in front of launch next to spillway!  Grown men fishing shoulder to shoulder for a 7" rainbow! :wacko:

most of em I found were 9-10" but I was fishing further out past the drop off...the bigger ones must like the deeper water  :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:   nice to see them stocking bigger bait  ::) ::)

I did get out and fish there the evening of March 2nd.  Ice was not very good, about 4 to 6 inches. Did not do well, small gillys no crappie. Snakes and a bass on the tipups.
