I figured before I break one, How are the springs with flags replaced?? Is there threads holding the spring or something else??

The spring is just threaded over a shaft using the spring as the threads. It should release if you apply reverse pressure at the start of the spring near the wood plank. If you try to reverse pressure anywhere on the spring it works like Chinese fingers and grips tighter on the shaft. Good Luck

I was able to get mine off but a pain to get back on. I put a dab of gun grease on it to help the rest of the way... Nam where you able to get just the springs or did you have to buy the flags with it? I'm having problems finding just the springs without the flags.
