  This stuff of getting up early and being on the ice all day for the last 4 days in a row is taking a toll.  Think when they slow down this afternoon I may just hop in the truck and take a snooze before the evening bite.  P.S. I'm only thirty I don't know how the real old guys do it!!  LOL

Man, that must be nice...I have only been able to get on the ice 1 time this year.  All our lakes around here are still about 25ft over winter pool.  Looks like Ill have to take a long drive this weekend to find some ice....cant take it anymore!!

I don't make work out of it anymore 'cause I don't have too. Your days are coming.
Been retired since 1995. Been very lucky. Health has been pretty good, have two stints but other than that, still getting around!

Good for you, Teach, hope I can say the same thing.  I am taking 84 year old Pop out this weekend so I guess I have a good shot.  He can't walk far, but can still snatch the gills like nobody/s business!

I like the way you think. I get a little more like that every year..lol Somedays I just want to go fish a couple hours and go home and fillet 12 or so gills, fry-em up an enjoy...

I fished with an 86 year old today and he never skipped a beat.  He was drilling holes all over the place.  Bouncing around from hole to hole in 4 degree weather.  The 1st lake we had a long walk to get to the lake, walked down the hill and up the hill and no trobles.  I only hope that I have half as much energy when I'm that age.
