It's a long ride but I will be coming I have wanted to try honeoye for a while now. Ice is crap here please keep us updated on conditions so I know how to pack. I will be bringing my son if conditions allow and let me know if anything is needed . Sounds like a good crew out there. And mr bass hater

Cant wait for the 16th! They are moving the kids clinic to the same day as the get together so that should be awesome!

Yup. The Kids Clinic is moved to the 16th for safety. We gonna have it goin on all over that day! Hope some of you ice nutz lend a hand with the clinic. It's the best! We'll have some fun for sure.

Hey can anybody help with that clinic?? im still young compared to you guys as you have kindly pointed out

but i know a few things and if somebody had a kid there that had never seen an underwater camera i would be willingly to let them use it as i know the kids i have shown it including my sister who is 9 really enjoy it. And im thinking maybe it should be off of trident, south end fish are starting to get weird and a lot of them have moved out deep. the fish we have found shallow wont even come look and if they do they either bite or are gone right away, they don't even look and then bite or leave, its just yep im hungry, or nope im gone.

Was up there last weekend with my buddy that lives on the SW side of the lake and we had about 4" or so of good hard ice, he calls me today and tells me the ice in gone.

have faith the lake is freezing back up as we speak. we might not be able to have machines but I think it will be good .the weather is lookink good.
COLD COLD ICE COLD!!!!!!!!!!
PLUS The kids clinic will be on the same day,so it has to freeze

Ice conditions look fine for the lake for this coming Saturday is get together.
THINKING OF SETTING UP CENTRAL LOCATION FOR EVERYBODY STRAIGHT ACROSS FROM THE STATE LAUNCH JUST NORTH I AM GOING TO BRING A RED AND YELLOW UMBRELLA SO EVERYONE WILL SEE WHERE WE ARE SETTING UP.
I AM GOING TO BRING SOME RED HOTS AND SOME rolls MEAT SAUCE KETCHUP AND MUSTARD .
I am bringing my small grill if anyone else has small grills or cookers please Feel free to bring them along With any other goodies you want to cook.

I am hoping to make it out but I am new to finger lake ice. If I went out of trident is there anything I should know. I am normally just a jigger but I do run a few tip ups for pike. Everything I read says the north is mostly perch. So is it the traditional find 20 feet of water and jig and minnows near the bottom. Is there much else to target up north worth trying for. Its a two hour run so I want to be ready.
