Went out today...ice is a good 7 in. I didn't catch a thing and only saw a few fish brought up.

Anything going on at Minatare? I know its the dead sea but occasionally there are some fish caught out of there.

I never really thought Minatare was too bad.  I have always had "decent" luck there.  Not quite sure why nobody has posted any reports??

This is true you can go out there one day and have an awsome day of fishin the next day you cant even buy yourself a bite.

As of today, ice is about 8" out from the rock ramp.  BUT, there is open water from the point almost to the east side.  The wind was blowing that water enough to cause a small amount of current under the ice.  Now we have the wind and sun working on the surface of the ice and the moving water working on the underside.  Watch for thin spots to develop soon where the ice is good today.  If the wind continues, we could lose the ice very soon.

Still safe ice as of today (Wednesday) but the shoreline is getting to be an adventure...
