I measured 21 inches last night with all the minus -20f nights lately up here in Sawyer and northern Washurn County. Had minus -16 again this morning, at this rate we will hit 3 feet of ice by the end of Feb. if it keeps up.

20" - 24" on most big lakes in Sawyer and Washburn Co. I don't think the ice is going anywhere until this snow melts off the top of it, still almost a good foot of snow on top.

Jefferson County lakes are holding at 18" of ice. Cold week coming up. Wouldn't be surprised if ice out was in April this year. Last year at this time I was floating my toon in open water.

Sorry not a report,

Ahhh, HIMO.... it was you I read about on Lake Link (on Fox Lake). I get up there every once in a while myself but I'm more of a tippy fisherman than a jigger. Last few years the Fox has been very good to me.

Perhaps our paths will cross at some point. Keep it dry.........

I was on big LCO in Sawyer Co. yesterday catching perch, drove out with the truck, the snow has gone down quite a bit no problem getting stuck anymore. Measured 26" of ice with a tape measure.

I was out on Lake Onalaska Friday and Saturday. The ice was good but from one day to the next you could see a difference in color.Three inches of slush on top of the ice.The landings were getting bad. I wont be able to go out next week so I suppose it is all done fore me. The fishing though was good but not great. Friday and Saturday . I caught some of the biggest perch I ever caught. Jerry
