 Saturday Great Ice. Great Fish! In a hour or so we caught 30 Keepable perch and one big crappie. very cold though. gonna do it again sunday.

Do you see anyone out on the north end of Lower Twin?

yes but not alot of folks. also seen a guy right out from the campgroung area on the lower lake.

I just looked my ruler over and unfortunately it doesn't have a mark that says great ice.  Could ya help me calibrate that.   Glad to hear of someone getting out and on fish.  Enjoy.

5.5"- 6" of ice. I didnt fall thru so it was Great ice!!

Beautiful Sunny morning. 20 Perch in 3.5 hrs. 5-6 Inches of ice where I was. Lots of people on the ice. Maybe 5 shanties and 6 more groups. There was plenty of space for everyone.

Some guy brought a 4 wheeler on the ice and it started a crack 30 or so feet but held and froze over pretty quick.

5.5 - 6" ice today. Lots of perch. Talked to a guy who had a 5-6 lb trout. Also got to see an amazing snowmobile wreck. All in all a great trip.   Fernan sucked today !!

to the1bigguy-I heard Fernan has a weird fungus in it right now and the fish are bad there.. Do you know anything about that?

i have not heard of the Fungus. I know they have had a problem in the past. I have fished Frenan for everything using evrything and have never done any good. But I keep trying.
