I like to drill holes in a line from the break all the way in to 5 fow ahead of time. Then I jig the hole closest to the deep water and follow the fish in shallow as the night moves on. I jig the same way with all the common jigging raps and spoons.........and of course my vexilar.

Drilling the holes around 4pm is the way to go! Then that area has time to settle before primetime! Good luck!
I have laid aside business, and gon' a fishin!
