Once in a lifetime catch

 Caught this perch on a 3 inch Buckeye. then the line cut into my hand and i luckily got my fingers free and then caught this pike all on the 1 hook. biggest pike ive caught. Couldn't believe it.

 Caught off of Newark island in Great Sodus

I just tried it with the IMGs, and it doesn't work. IDd you delete it from photobucket by any chance, Angler?

 Hey!!

 Thanks for posting the pic. It really doesn't show how untouched and bright it's skin really was. it was more colorfull than a christmas tree and bright.

How long was it? If that's a 10" perch, then it looks like the Pike was about 40".

I had to measure him using my tipup. It measured out roughly 40 inches or alittle better.

  Wild thing about catching him was,,, I was in a streak of slabbers, and before and after i caught him and 1 other 20 incher the perch didn't stop biting. I was in 28 feet of water near Newark Island and at many time all 5 flaggs were up many many times.


  I always enjoy each day i spend out there. 1 hell of a walk unless my friends tow me out, hehehe

Nice fish Angler, Posting pic.s isn't as easy as some people make it sound. It took me two months to figure out.
