Couple guys fell through Papish yesterday January 1st! Heard only 2 inches! Someone went through Dryden few days ago as well!

got reports of a few, 3 in total that went thru the ice here locally on 2.5" of ice.

snow acts like a blanket of insulation, keeps the slush under the ice from forming into ice, so the ice stays thin in colder temp.
