Sorry bro, I don't make it that far east most of the time, but I can ask a co-worker that lives in that area, he is a huge hardwater angler. Ill post tomorrow with his response.

Was there late last week and didn't see any ice. My roommate works in munising and I told him as soon as it has ice to let me know.

Ok I talked to my coworker and he mentioned that there is no ice and it gets safe ice mid January-early February. And he also mentioned that it does not last very long. :-(
