Yeah man PFDs, or a buddy this time of year and pack extra clothes. All Ice season long I have a wool sweater sweatpants heavy wool socks extra boots etc, just in case.

muck is the worst gotta know your lake there is a lake in the up with muck so deep five feet of shore you can pucsh a ten foot stick in with little pressure i would hate to take a cold dip into that
drill more holes you'll find,em

Exactly my point. I fell thru on the Huron river once and if I didn't have a solid bottom I feel like I may have not been here today.

Cold tonight but very windy tommorow. I think the lake is safe now but 20mph winds suck.
