South Park 12/15

[SLAYERFISH]

Hooked up with Dmac, Jackalope, Joe Momma, and Hawk for some fun.   Stunna got lost somewhere in the Hut City.

My 1st fish was at 7am and the last slid thru the hole at 459pm.  In between was buckets of fish and lots of laughs.My tally was 13 bows and 3 pike.  Everyone else had at least that many trout but I was the only one to have the pike curse!
Maybe cause I was the only one jigging a 1/4 oz. silver/orange kasty-
Saw a guy land a 27" 8lb bow in 6 feet of water. I got my pike in 6 feet of water, most of my afternoon bites were in 6 feet of water.
Great time, beautiful weather, fun fishing with friends at my favorite lake.

Nice Mike! Was close by too. Did just like you but left the ice around 4:00. Action all day. Nice pike by the way. I only had one flag and one 24"ish pike come play.

Glad you had a GREAT long day on the ice. Woulda been back up today had I not had a family function...

Was a fantastic day weather wise too. Thought the noon breeze was there to stay but it never got too bad and pretty mild that area.

Well, Slayerfish comes through again. That range of hills in the background looks very familiar somehow. The giveaway though is the size and quality of the fish. Both species. I'm lickin' my chops over that Northern. Very well done indeed.

Yeah 6" maybe 6.5.   Grew 3" in 3 days.

Nice Fish!!! I was woundering thou I see you have a gaff in your pics I was told they are illegal in CO.  But I have seen them in stores and in pepoples pics just thought I would ask.  Again NIce fish

Only illegal on certain lakes like Granby to protect the big lakers.

Excellent catch,Slayerfish! With the next cold snap coming Wednesday, it should help make a little more ice.
