8 is bigger than a 10.  As for the jigs, 1/32 is bigger than 1/64 which is bigger than 1/100

Jigs are sized in ounces. So 1/32 is 1/32nd of one ounce. 1/64 is 1/64th of one ounce. etc. etc.
So since 1/32 of an ounce weighs more than 1/64 of an ounce it will be heavier.
The larger the number the smaller the hook. Until you get to size one then it goes to the ought sizes. In ought sizes bigger the number bigger the hook.
So a size 8 hook is larger than a size 10 hook but a 10/0 is bigger than a 8/0.
