Hey Scott, upstate ny is a beautiful place!!! I grew up just outside of Watertown and have enjoyed the waters!! Great pics and thanks for sharing!!

wow very nice! i just got back from the same but got skunked casue of the 58 degree temp and fog right now over detroit only 5 guys fishing in flat rock today i was one. lol's one guy cought a 6-8 pound shad and nothing else the whole time i was there. any ways i would keep at it till we get a good freeze if not were s.o.l . and steel will be on the menu...

I plan to do exactly that in January. My annual Champlain ice fishing week. Howling wind and brutal cold. You have to love that!
Its kind of like a miniature Lake Ontario or a tiny Atlantic.
