x67 or lx-7 couple questions for difference

hello,
long time reader,first time poster lol
i just got back into icefishing last year. Which i really like now we have all the easy setup shanties and electronics.
 I bought a humminbird 345 ice (so i can flip back forth on boat)
when i take kids out, they wanted to use it too. I also bought a marcum 625sd,which i'm going to sell,if i had clearer water i would keep it.

Anyway..i'm little torn over x67 and lx-7. My main things...

Does the lx-7 show graph display like the x67,where it shows your jig/bait like on x67?
and the x67 has 4x zoom,which i usually fish under 20' water, in return would show a closer view and the lx-7 goes to 5' incriments,which i can't zoom closer. do you think that is a issue on lx-7?
I know deeper water, i would think lx-7 would shine more in this area ()

So should i plunk the money down on a lx-7  or just spend couple hundred on x67. do you see any screen burning out or screen problems in future on lx-7.
If lx-7...who has best price?  best i've found is 640.00 shipped

You'll get a ton of responses on this one.  In a nutshell, the LX-7 does everything that every other finder does and more, wrapped up in one package.  As far as bang for the buck, nothing touches a X-67, just my .02.

Big problem with the X67 is that it is no longer made.
Replaced by the Elite 4x IceMachine.

yeah...i said screw it.  i just ordered the lx-7   Hopefully i catch lots more fish to pay for it. lol

You made a good choice, your going to absolutely love the lx-7. Its definitely my most cherished piece of ice fishing gear, they are just plain fun to use.

Yes you can run the 7 in graph, flasher and zoom all at the same time or any variation of the 3

if i had the money to spend i have a 67c and a hds5x which i love but i'm not a marcum guy but between the 2 choice i'd do the lx7 without question , but bang for the dollar it's the 67c

You won't regret buying the LX-7.  I've had mine for 1 season and it is awesome.  Bought the high-speed ducer kit this past spring and used it on my boat as well.  It's an awesome tool I never get tired of looking at.  The other thing - Marcum will stand behind it.

got it for ice. My daughter loves going fishing! so, i'll let her use the humm 345 ice and i get lx-7.
  For open...maybe... i might sell the boat this coming spring. which i have two humm's on it, Down imagining and front hooks to the 1500.00  terra troller,which has a built in duecer,which works with the humm. 345 ice..plug/play

I only went out in it few times last year...sell it, get someting more simple,no live wells,etc...then i may use the lx-7 for open water.

i got the lx7 wednesday.  nice unit so far. it does have 3.0 update on it too.  Just ordered a 4.5 finbore auger too  and some mud bugs,etc. i can't get thoughs around me.  I THINK i'm done this year...or wife will kill me. lol  Just need some ice, the lake by me ice's up pretty quick once it gets cold.

oh, i bought couple of though emergency blankets too from meijer, silver and red, little heavier than a normal one,kinda like a tarp thickness and i put thoughs in roof of quickflip 3..worked out great! Took me about a hour to do it, but it folds down with unit too.  Where the velcro goes around poles, i put tyvek tape (3 layers, that stuff sticks in cold too) where the slits were, so it didn't continue to tear (hopefully) and put the velcro thru and around poles. fold it down just like normal, fold up just like normal.
