I am going to be in Springdale,OH Jan. 21-25 for some work related training. If we have a "winter", I am thinking about bringing some ice gear, but i have never fished Ohio. I would appreciate any help with a descent fishing spot near Springdale with public access. I have been looking at what Hoosier posted on Ohio DNR's page. East Fork looks good but i would love to get some local info of the area. I only was able to get out once last year, and i had to drive 4.5 hours north to Valpo to find good ice. I'm going to try to get out every chance i get this year, even if its after a day of training.
Hopefully this winter will produce some hardwater. good luck to ya guys!
