I agree with bigredonice.
No forked tail so it isnt a channel cat, with tthe brown model collor and white belly, darker barbels I'd say it is a brown bullhead.    Also yellow bullhead have white barbels so it isnt a yellow.   Best way to tell for sure would be to do a anal ray count, browns have 21 to 24 anals rays on there fin.
It doesn't matter if you didn't catch anything as long as you had fun.

exactly - the only other thing it could be would be a black bullhead, and they have 17 - 21 anal fin rays.

It has the coloration of a Brown Bullhead, the fin rays are hard to see. Browns tend to be bigger in my opinion too. I caught some monsters in Black Lake, pushing 19-20", they're really amazing. :o Nice ugly fish ya got there! ;)

It's definatly a brown bullhead. I've caught a few that big, but not many and none through the ice.

looks like a typical stone roller to me but then again it could be mixed with a channel cat?

Welch, I don't mean to dog you man, but you need to calm down on the posting a bit. I look at the pictures forum, and your name is on every thread on the first page, and its all useless misspelled information. I mean if its all usefull, I could see that, but bringing back posts that are a year old saying its a weird fish..I mean come on man. Posts counts don't mean that much!
