Hey everybody newbie here. Just thought I would chime and say Hi. I have one of the Dave Genz ice spooler combos's on order and can't wait to try it out. Looks like we will get better chances for some hard water fishing this year, anything will be better than last year!

I have a eagle claw magnifier and am very very impressed with ec. Construction appears to be very good better than the 241 frabill imo but I have a 13 magnifier comming Wich is far superior to all imo

I just picked up a eagle claw inline reel hoping to use it by the weekend!!!!!!!!

I purchased one of the clam ice fly combos. I was relieved that it didn't have that awful clicking sound that a lot of fly reels have. If the forecast cooperates I'll be using it in a couple of weeks 

That clicking is due to a simple spring under the drag cover. I took those springs off of my 2 slv 2/3's as soon as i unboxed them, no big deal and no annoying noise when you reel.
