I got about 5 feet out on a bait pond sunday before I went in up to my knees.

I found 4 inches back again today on my new bait spot however there were places with only two and some areas I would not go towards.  I do see though in a day or two it should be good to go as the temps are staying below freezing for the next few DAYS and real cold at night.

Freaking CRAZY! Gonna be like winter the next couple days. Probably gonna give us enough ice to stand on in some [small] places. That’s good. Then Sunday and Monday, we’re looking at 51 on Sunday around Hancock and 46 up around Newport.... I guess if there is ice to walk on saturday, it’ll still be there Sunday! So, that’s my new plan for walking on water. Right after clam tide Sunday, I shall be there!
