MyFishFinder.com Just like iceshanty but warmer
Just spent two days camping and fishing at -30F the high was -20F. The lake was a cracking and popping as the ice expanded all day and night.
-30C is what in Fahrenheit lets see (-30(9))/5 + 32= -54+32 so thats... carry the 4 and -22F wow did that all in my head.... anyway it is currently 30F here which means its ((30-32)x5)/9=~-1C yea not cold enough when the highs are in the upper 30's lower 40's
Or you could just go here: http://www.worldwidemetric.com/measurements.html and punch in what you want coverted.
But that takes the fun out of using what we learned in Science Class years ago! Don't want to upset the teachers.
Wind chill doesn't change the temperature. It feels colder to exposed skin, but the temperature isn't affected by the wind.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wind_chillAs a surface heats the air around it, an insulating boundary layer of warm air forms against the surface. Moving air disrupts the boundary layer, allowing for new, cooler air to replace the warm air against the surface. The faster the wind speed, the more readily the surface cools.
To the ambient temperature. It doesn't lower the temperature.
