I love how the predicted high today was 38. I'd feel good if the predicted low tonight ended up ten degrees cooler than the forecast, but I doubt that'll be the case.

32° Looks like the ten day is going to be warmer but the big cold front headed are way is going to be here soon. Do you guys think the next few days will melt what little ice we have?

Probably, it can only be extremely marginal at best. Slightest bit of rain will easily kill it

Wow it got quite a bit warmer down state compared to us. Highest I saw today was 36, it's 33 now.

There's a tiny limestone kiln pond in Petoskey, it's insanely deep, it was covered with ice at noon by 5 it was opening up. Sure would be nice if it would just stay cold.

Looks like the cold front doesn't come through until Wednesday night and into Thursday. Below freezing highs start Friday with lows in the teens for a good five days after that.

Need an arctic blast.

31.9*. sure, why not a tease. Crunchy slush on the ground, forecast is for a damp 52* tomorrow. Supposedly the bottoms to fall out Friday and stay that way for awhile. All forecasts subject to change without notice but someday they will swing our way

NOAA.gov - Aren't they the same government agency that predicted a higher than normal Hurricane season, don't recall even hearing of one. If they'd quit playing with their global warming skewed computer programs and actually look out the back door every now and then, maybe, just maybe, they'd become somewhat credible.

51* @ noon. PREDICTIONS in the short term is for the cold coming, next Wednesday they're calling for a high of 16*, hopeful but will believe it when it happens

34 is as high as it's gotten today up here. Temps are suppose to start dropping during the night. should be good ice on a lot of the smaller lakes by the weekend. Bigger ones like Burt, Charlevoix, Mullett are a ways off yet.
