this warm up won't hurt my area i don't think we have 8-9 inches on most lakes and tuesday night thru thursday is cold then friday thru sunday is warmer then monday cold again
currently 33 degrees

I hope the forecasts are wrong. The only good thing is its still below freezing at night. Its one thing if we had a foot of ice with only 4-5 my area its not good. This is the ice fishermen nightmare

Seems they've backed off the heavy snow forecast for next week, for now. 32 *, overcast and gusty winds to near 30mph presently. Visually checked a couple waters from a distance this AM, plenty of water on the ice being blown around by the wind, ice underneath getting that air infused look, not good but still there

Was out this am, water on top(very little) freezing, holes skimming, gonna tighten up, shoreline might be a little iffy where I walk on!!

35 * and dropping here, winds 18 mph gusting to 26 mph, only .06" rain so far, don't look like a lot more, as most went north of here. Gonna get little more rain or snow tonite, hopefully in my neck of the woods, wont be too bad!!

1/2 inch or more of ice pellets on the ground. WZZM 13 is still saying we are getting rain. Hopefully it does warm up and turn to rain to melt this ice.

28 here now, got around a inch of snow, just enough to cover what I want to see when walking out!! Have to carry spud again!!
