Had 47 here as well today . I watched open water working it's way towards me with the wind today. We'll be alright after tomorrow.

I drove up to houghton lake yesterday, the rivers were froze over and there was a foot of clear ice. What a difference a couple hours north makes. Cold snap coming this week, round two.

27 and starting to snow .i hope Allegan co. don't get dumped on.the ice needs to get thicker and will with the cold temps this week but not if its covered in up to a foot of snow.

says 13 on the digital thermometer on the wall here and the airport matches. supposed to be below zero wind chills. so it's shanty time today!

i wish we would get some snow so i can fish lyon soon. missing those jumbo perch there. i'm getting locals calling and asking why i'm not out there yet.
doing good on another lake, but just gills and big crappie and no perch.
