Hub material gets wet when it snows.

I got a quickfish II last year and the one time I used it it was snowing. When it came time to pack up and leave the hub material was just soaked. Is the material supposed to repel water? If not, can you spray a water repellant on it?

Ya, the water repelent will not hurt it at all.
