Central MT Weather Report

I hope everyone is ready for some cold and SNOW. Predicting over a foot over the next three days here in Great Falls. Lower temps are nice, been getting all the gear together but might have to put it down for a snow shovel for a while  ::) Be safe out there, I am sure road conditions will be nasty. Might even see some outages if it is heavy snow.

Sub-zeros on saturday!  ;D

90% chance of snow here in north west Montana, 20s Fri - Sun. This is good hopefully it will kick in the rut because yesterday they still more concerned with eating than being dumb and chasing does.

Better hope the outages are not very wide spread.  Lots of north westerns help is over here in New Jersey.  Good luck fellas. Grow some ice for me when I get back

Just cleaned 5" of snow of my walk. Only took less than three hours to get there.  Nothin' like 2" of snow an hour to get a guy thinking about ice fishing.  My wife says I am sick, I call it dedicated.

Shoveled my butt off the past 2 days, we got 16" here. And to make things even better, it's down to 1 above zero right now... Might get some early ice at least! Headed east for deer tomorrow, hoping the rut picks up on the 12th like usual.....

anyone with snow reports in MT?  There were some spots in ND that got hit pretty good, up to 18"...  Sloughs were just starting to freeze over and now there is snow on top of the little ice there was= not ideal for making ice.  I'm hoping everything opens up again with the 30+mph wind we have now and then refreezes
