Ice Shanty (noun) - A highly modified tent designed to trap smoke and odors inside while preventing fresh air and sunshine from penetrating the interior.  Also, a good place to be to prevent a condition called numbnuts.

Numbnuts (noun) - A condition that occurs from sitting on a bucket,  on a frozen body of water in below freezing weather without access to an ice shanty.

This condition causes the sufferer to not be able to feel the peanuts they are trying to remove from the can to snack on.....  I bet you guys have some other definitions for this!   ;)2

LOL!
Ice Shanty (2nd definition) = A place to waste your time while you're not fishing!
