The ice in town is about 2+ inches. I've been doing well the last two days on the local lakes.
Why do I always leave shrimp in my pocket from last week?

Long lake mile 89 on the glen was ice free as of  October 27th Bonnie lake had an inch or two and a few open leads in the center.
Looked like the wind had been hammering that area not that that is abnormal

If going to the Big Lake area this is a good place to look for ice condions

I was out today had 6 inches of good ice. The wind was just ridiculous! I'm going back out tomorrow to do some hole hopping to see if I can find some deeper water and FISH.
