Was back in Rapid for the weekend and couldn't NOT go fishing.  So my dad and I went to Sheridan.

Those are nice trout TJ! They have really been biting lately. I went fly-fishing Sunday afternoon from the foot bridge at Founders Park up to West Main and caught 14 Brown Trout. That was in about 2 1/2 hours. Monday Morning I hit the area between Sioux Park and the bridge over the creek on 32nd Street and caught 9 Browns and one Rainbow. Nice to see Rapid Creek back to it's old form. I agree.....summer doesn't seem to want to end. Just wish someone would shut off the wind machine.

Nice fish TJ!! I went up to Sheridan last Saturday for 2 hrs and ended up with a 3 lb trout also. It was full of snails.

"The Bluegill Hunter" and I went out yeaterday. He got 2 Perch and this Trout. Got it all by himself on a Northland #07 Bro's Mealworm under a slip bobber. Released it after a quick picture.
