That's Not Right!  ;D Here I was expecting a HUGE Lake Trout/Togue? And that's the trophy?  :laugh: Ya got me  ::)

Wait for it, wait for it BAM!! Haha wasn't expecting a sculpin but man, that's a big one!! That would have to be the biggest freshwater sculpin I've seen!

i noticed theres one of them lil baby eel like in the snow, seen them on lakers lately.

It's from Ness Lake. Apparently they can grow to 12" and average size being 5-6" they spawn in late winter early spring. This species is the Prickly Sculpin. They are also a bait fish for brown trout, bass and brook trout.

Are Brown trout stocked anywhere in BC?   I miss brown trout from when I was a kid in Newfoundland,   fun fish to catch

I believe you can catch brown trout down south.

I'm pretty sure you can catch them on Vancouver island, in the cowichan river.

No you're probably right but I would think those spikes would give them a severe case of heartburn.

I've caught brookies outta that lake that were packed full of those on there gut.
2012 Burbot 1st place
2015 Burbot 1st place
2016 Lake Trout 1st place
2017 Burbot 3rd place
2018 Lake Trout 3rd place
