It seems like just yesterday I caught a 5+ LLS on the cow banks on April 4th and that
was not the last day that season.

Makes you wonder what winter will be like in another 10 years?

I try not to think about it. I'm hoping ice fishing isn't going to be one of those things I tell my future kids and grandkids about The only hope I see is things seem to be cyclical - I was on the ice 3 years ago 2 weeks before thanksgiving- heres hoping to some cold winters to come!

We were talking about this mild "winter" earlier and recalled back in maybe '78 or so? that very mild winter. Maybe it is cyclical, maybe climate change is real and this is part of it.

Crazy stuff, forecast for this week looks more like a May forecast than mid March

look at the past temp and winter records 

some were just as mild and some are bad , the years doesnt show a definite change...
