Brown Trout Mount is Ready! (pic)

Hey Guys,

Caught this Brown last spring in Maine. The Taxidermist called and said it was ready for pick up!  :)

The locals at the lake I was fishing practice catch and release so after a couple measurements and a photo, the fish was released.
I went with a reproduction mount and he did a great job with it! The fish was 24" long and in the 6lb range.

Ice Wanderer - The taxidermist I use has a table mount display of a rainbow in his shop. I really liked the idea, so Ive had 4 table mounts done by him. (2 rainbows, a Brookie, and the Brown) Ive also had him do a few wall mounts for me with some bigger fish (Brood-stock Salmon, King Salmon, and Steelhead)

That's a sweet looking mount. Just dropped mine off a the taxidermist'  Yesterday. Making me a bit ansy. I hope mine comes out that nice. :o

Here ya go Sinnian, side by side comparison. I told the taxidermist I wanted him to brighten up the colors a bit as I don't care for a white belly on the mount. I really like the job he did.
